CRS San Pedro welcomed Doreen Kargbo at American Martyrs Church, and the video of the event is now available to share her powerful testimony about the impact of CRS's ministries.

The Rice Bowl is a critical initiative every year, but with so much funding and support for CRS in flux, the contributions of Lenten alms are indispensable in 2025. Regardless of one's perspective on the wisdom of these moves, there is positive action we can take to make a difference. If we let what is Caesar's be rendered unto Caesar, then we can still render our own service to our brothers and sisters around the world.

As we shared in a previous post, Doreen Kargbo visited American Martys Church in Manhattan Beach from her native Sierra Leone, where she now supports CRS's ministry to the most vulnerable. If you did not have the chance to attend, or would like to share with others you know, please share this post or the direct link to the video, which are provided below.

MARCH 2, 2025

"Guided by my personal conviction to serve humanity, I felt that I could make a meaningful contribution to the important work that CRS is already doing in Sierra Leone."
